Tuileries, Paris — Charmeuse № 1
A single thread,
carried gently
from Suzhou.
Our atelier sits in Shengze, Wujiang — a town that has woven silk for nine hundred years. Every bolt we use is woven by Shengze's heritage mills in Song-brocade and kesi techniques, finished with the famously two-faced, three-figured Suzhou embroidery.
Today, we fold the stillness of a Jiangnan garden and the quiet of a scholar's studio into each piece. From cocoon to garment, every commission travels thirty-six skilled hands — none of them under ten years' apprenticeship.
